Why do you work in Safety?
I never have the same day twice! There is constant growth and evolution in the health and safety world which allows me to be a continuous learner. This industry graces me with opportunities to travel and network to meet amazing human beings. The fulfillment I get from helping others, whether at work or with their personal challenges, is overwhelming. Health & Safety fills my cup.
Why are you a member of ASSP?
After moving to Oregon, I wanted to meet other people in my industry and become more familiar with the events and happenings that go on. ASSP also offers a range of educational opportunities to its members which piqued my interest. After quickly making connections, I felt valued in the group and was even given an opportunity to attend the ROC conference in Alaska in 2024.
